The boat ride over

I was still a little jet-lagged
This is the start of the steepest cog-car in
the world (48% at the steepest point)
It impresses me that cows can hike around here
while I take the train.
The top. I think these birds lived off of
toursts' pretzels.

Jill, taking photos.

A fake wall. The Swiss man guns behind
these. They also mine all their bridges and passes. Don't mess with
the Swiss.
You could hear cow bells ringing throughout
the valley, like hundreds of windchimes.

Waiting for us to finish our apples.

I love this shot. He actually posed for this,
hovering on a wind current for several seconds.
Speaking of posing, the fauna here really knew
how to hit their marks when pictures were being taken.
Note the baby to the left. He couldn't have
been more than two weeks old, and must've been born here 'cause he
couldn't have climbed.

There are paths everywhere. They say you can
walk from one side of Switzerland to the other on these paths.
The hotel at the top. Pretty cheap when it
isn't ski season.
The hotel bathroom had a projector rigged to
shine a dragon through the translucent stall door. Very funky.
The long gondola down. It's so long they have
a restaurant halfway down.
