I turned on BBC radio yesterday just in time to hear the newscaster say "and a purebred Guernsey cow. Now on to sports..." I caught the reference, but at the time had no idea what he was talking about...

I was trying to decide what the humor vs. horror equation was for this situation and decided it really boils down to this:

  • If someone accidently shoots someone while hunting, it's just not funny.

  • If the Vice President (any vice president) accidently shoots someone, it's funny.

  • If the Vice President accidently shoots a lawyer, it's hilarious.
