On Tuesday Trump threatened to imprison Zuckerberg personally if Meta doesn’t play ball, posting “All I can say is that if I’m elected President, we will pursue Election Fraudsters at levels never seen before, and they will be sent to prison for long periods of time. We already know who you are. DON’T DO IT! ZUCKERBUCKS, be careful!”
Today Meta announced that Trump’s account is no longer subject to the heightened suspension penalties (i.e. probation) it’s been under since the January 6th insurrection.
Question for Trump supporters: even if you feel like Meta treated Trump unfairly, in what universe is threatening the CEO of a media company with jail time if they don’t help your campaign ever OK?
